Welcome to Primary Blooms! We’re Phung and Hoa, two sisters with a shared appreciation for journaling, planning, and the small comforts that stationery can bring.

Our Story

Our love for stationery began early. Growing up in Vietnam, we spent countless hours doodling in notebooks, writing letters, and decorating our diaries—just simple, quiet things that helped us feel grounded and creative.

In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, we started JC Notebook from our hometown. What began as a small project quickly grew into a vibrant stationery brand with over 48,000 followers in Vietnam. Through JC, we built a community that found joy in journaling and self-expression—even during uncertain times.

Later, life took us overseas. Phung moved to the U.S. to study design, and Hoa went to Canada to pursue marketing and entrepreneurship. After years of working and living apart, we felt the urge to create something together again—something that reflected where we were now, both personally and creatively.

That’s how Primary Blooms was born. A sister brand to JC Notebook, but with a different approach: more introspective, a little quieter, and focused on the soft, everyday moments that often get overlooked 

Our Vision

With backgrounds in design and marketing, we decided to combine our skills to create something that felt authentic to us. Primary Blooms isn’t about chasing perfection or trends; it’s about making products that reflect the quiet, personal moments that often go unnoticed—scribbling down a fleeting thought, writing a note to someone you care about, or simply organizing your day.

Our Goal

Primary Blooms is a way for us to stay connected despite living in different countries. It’s also a way to hold on to the parts of ourselves that can get lost in the noise of everyday life. Every product we make, from journals to planners, is an attempt to capture that feeling—however imperfectly.
